Partner 2004 – present, Associate 1995 - 2004. Provides counsel in all aspects of labour and employment law, civil litigation and administrative law matters. Handles all manner of labour proceedings including complaints and charges under the Labour Relations Act, the Canada Labour Code, Workplace Safety and Health legislation, Human Rights legislation and Employment Standards legislation. Provides advice to employers on all matters of discipline, termination and change of conditions of employment and is frequently involved in negotiating and/or litigating such matters. Provides counsel on civil litigation matters with a special emphasis on employment litigation and health/disability oriented litigation from commencement and pre-trial matters through trial and appeal proceedings. Guest lecturer at various private sector seminars on topics such as professional regulation and discipline, ethics and professional liability in the sphere of medicine, and labour and employment issues.
