Jason Gisser Recognized for Local Philanthropy

In its recently published 2010 annual report, the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba recognized five local philanthropists - Jason Gisser, an associate with Aikins is among them.

In 2003 Jason was diagnosed with “Ameloblastoma”, a very rare benign oral tumor. Between 2003 and 2008 Jason underwent numerous procedures and reconstructive surgeries. In March of 2010 he established the Jason Gisser Fund for Oral Tumor Research. As a past recipient of the Jewish Foundation’s “Ruth and Joe Freed and Stephen Freed and Family Academic Award,” Jason is honoured to be able to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

Jason has been with Aikins since 2010 and practices in the areas of civil, commercial, and intellectual property litigation.
