Aikins Welcomes Associates Rachel Margolis and Lori LaBine
Aikins is pleased to announce that Rachel E. R. Margolis and Lori A. LaBine are joining the Firm as Associates.
Rachel, a former Associate of Aikins, returns as a member of our Business Law Department.
Rachel was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1997 and practices primarily in the area of corporate and commercial law with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, business and succession planning, trust and estate planning and commercial real estate law.
Rachel has been a guest lecturer at the University of Manitoba Law School and is a volunteer student advisor with the Marcel A. Desautels Centre for Private Enterprise and the Law. She was recently admitted as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is also a member of the Law Society of Manitoba, the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
Lori joins us from Wellington West. She will be an Associate in our Advocacy department, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, securities litigation, and administrative law.
Lori was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2007 and is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba, the Canadian Council on International Law, and the Manitoba and Canada Bar Associations. She is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the Manitoba Bar Association's International Law Section.
